In the depths of my own healing journey, I discovered the power of emotional work for physical well-being and found that addressing trauma is a key component of overcoming chronic illness. Our physical and emotional health are so connected that addressing physical root causes isn’t always enough. Throughout my healing journey, I tried several different modalities for releasing emotional trauma, but was having trouble finding one that seemed effective until I came across Mind Body Spirit Release™. One session was all I needed to know that this technique works and it became a huge part of my healing from then on.

About Mind Body Spirit Release™

Mind Body Spirit Release™ (MBSR) is a method designed to access, identify, and release cellular imprints within the body left behind by negative emotions, experiences, and trauma.

Our bodies remember emotions from every experience in our lives. Even trauma that is seemingly insignificant gets stored in the body and alters it’s ability to properly function. These memories, or “imprints,” can cause stress and create blockages within the body, preventing optimal health and healing. Trauma can often manifest in physical symptoms, mental and emotional distress, and even subconscious behavior changes that interfere with our day to day lives.

How Does MBSR Work?

MBSR™ uses muscle testing to identify what emotional imprints need to be released from the body. These imprints are then released by using a cold laser over acupressure points, meridians, and reflexes in order to calm down the nervous system response to the emotions and release them from the body and the subconscious mind.

This process can help to reduce both physical and emotional stress, build resilience to emotional stressors, and allows us to replace negative blocks with positive beliefs. In my experience working with clients, I have found addressing the emotional piece to be NECESSARY for many clients, and at the very least helps to accelerate healing. MBSR is also a great way to get the needle moving again if you feel like you’ve hit a plateau in your healing journey.

  • Remote clearings work due to a principle known as non-locality.

    Non-locality refers to the ability of particles (such as electrons & the basic units of energy we are made of) to be influenced instantaneously by another particle regardless of distance. If detected, the receiving particle will take on the state of the first particle.

    Because we are all made up of energy, once we have had contact with one another (whether in person or via phone/internet), we are energetically connected. This enables us to test for and clear emotions on your behalf using our own bodies as a proxy for yours.

  • MBSR can provide the following benefits:

    • Promotes physical health and accelerates physical healing from chronic illness, autoimmune issues, and other health problems

    • Calms the nervous system & helps people who are in a chronic sympathetic state (aka “fight or flight” mode)

  • Each person processes Mind Body Spirit Release™ clearings differently. Many people immediately feel calmer, more relaxed, or like a weight has been lifted.

    Others may experience detox reactions as the body is finally able to release physical and emotional toxins. This could look like feeling extra emotional or physical symptoms such as fatigue. These usually subside within a day or two, and at that point people usually notice the benefits of the clearing.

    How you feel may also vary session to session depending on what is cleared as each imprint can affect you differently.

  • It is important to note that one session is not enough to experience the full benefits of MBSR. We all have many layers of stored trauma and emotions, so we like to look at each session as peeling back another layer of emotional baggage. Over time, we are able to release deeper, core emotions that bring about the most noticeable transformations.

    When these big transformations happen greatly depends on the person, how much trauma they have experienced, the state of their nervous system, and how in-tune they are with their body and emotions. Some people start seeing shifts right away, others don’t see major shifts until several months in.

    It is recommended that people just starting MBSR complete a minimum of 4-6 sessions to start seeing shifts take place, and ongoing sessions to bring about the best results.

    For targeted support and healing from trauma or chronic health issues, sessions every 2-4 weeks is recommended.

    For maintenance/general wellbeing, sessions every 6-8 weeks (or at the frequency you test for) is recommended.

  • I typically recommend doing sessions every 2-4 weeks for best results. That being said, we always test each person during their sessions to see what time frame is best for them.

    For those struggling with a flare in symptoms or experiencing increased stress, scheduling sessions more frequently can be helpful.

  • If you have already worked with a practitioner(s) and completed root cause work, it’s common to think that the emotional piece is all you have left. However, this isn’t always the case…oftentimes, what people need is BOTH simultaneously to get the best results. Because sometimes we are physically stuck due to our emotional toxicity, but that doesn’t always mean we are done with root cause work. Sometimes we need to address emotions to allow the body to continue healing physically, and physical support is needed either later or strategically in conjunction with MBSR to fully heal lingering symptoms.

  • MBSR and Emotion Code are quite similar, however, there are a few key differences:

    1) MBSR is more in-depth than Emotion Code. Emotion Code primarily releases negative emotions, while MBSR releases negative emotions, blocks to positive emotions, disresonance in relationships, and emotions connected to specific organs, glands, body systems, and pathogens.

    In more advanced sessions, MBSR also targets limiting beliefs and emotions related to hormones, neurotransmitters, people, places, events, the nervous system, the vagus nerve, and much more.

    2) Emotion Code uses a magnet over the governing meridian to release emotions while MBSR uses a cold laser on meridians (including the governing meridian), acupressure points, and nervous system stimulating points.

  • It is important to note that MBSR™ does not involve communicating with or inciting spirits nor does it in any way work in a spiritual realm.

    MBSR™ simply utilizes quantum physics, the nervous system, and biofeedback via energy testing to identify emotions.

    As for the clearing itself, MBSR uses a cold laser to calm the nervous system & allow the body to release the emotions (this is similar to how acupuncture and tapping work). It is not demonic nor am I operating as a medium or using any form of magic, witchcraft, or sorcery during the clearings.

    For Christians who have concerns about energy work, I like to refer them to this article. The author does a wonderful job explaining energy work as related to God, Christianity, and the Bible.

  • It is important to note that even if you do not feel anything after a session, it does not mean that it was not effective or of benefit to you. Sometimes the differences are subtle, and other times it takes peeling back several layers of emotions before you experience a significant change in your physical or emotional symptoms. As with any form of healing, this process can take time. How you feel afterwards will likely vary from session to session and is not necessarily an indicator of it’s effectiveness.

    We have also found that different nervous system states tend to see different results when first starting MBSR, and those with the most dyregulated nervous systems tend to take a bit longer to notice the effects. The more connected to your body you are, the more you will notice the impacts of MBSR.
